6 months!

So I'm 6 months now and getting bigger!! I know they say you get bigger with your 2nd child but I was really hoping that wouldn't happen. There goes my wishful thinking. So anyways here's my updated belly shot.

Here is a picture of me & Israel. We accidentally cut out Baby Israel but you'll see more pics of him soon!

Weekend Update

We were so blessed to have my inlaws come up to Vegas for a week and babysit my son. I am happy to report he behaved better than with his own parents, go figure!! It was nice having them over. On their last day with us (July 3rd) they took us out to Olive Garden for a nice dinner. Here are some shots at the restaurant. Sorry some came out blurry, still trying to learn how to shoot my camera in manual mode.

Well that night I had a gallstone attack, that was not fun. It was so painful I had to go the emergency room where they gave me morphine for the pain. I was out by 3 am. About an hour later I started feeling the pain again, meds must have worn off. But this time I could handle the pain. By 6 am the pain was pretty much gone. The bad part of all of this is that I have to follow a strict diet of no grease which includes fatty meat, eggs, milk and dairy products. Guess this will be a very healthy pregnancy! So 4th of July we didn't really do much, I just rested all day. I wish I could say it ended there. But then Israel started feeling a stomachache around noon. And by 7 pm his pain was excruciating that now he had to go to emergency room. Thankfully nothing was wrong with him and we got to go home that night. So we pretty much started and ended our 4th of July in the hospital. The next day we were all fine so we finally went out as a family to gameworks and played games for a few hours then ended the evening with blockbuster videos. Hopefully next year we will have a better 4th of July!

Walk in the Park

Today we went for a short walk to the park. Baby Israel enjoyed walking the dog (Muñeca). He did very well holding her leash firmly and walking her. After a while he got tired of walking her and wanted to just run around all over the place. He made me break a sweat running after him and gave me a good work out.

I am now 22 weeks! Here is an updated pic of my belly.

Beach Trip!

We went down to LA on a mini trip to the beach this weekend. The weather was soo perfect and the water was nice, not too cold!! We really needed a relaxing weekend like this. I got a chance to tan my white legs that look super white against my husband's and son's skin. LOL! But of course even though I'm getting darker my family is getting darker with me so I guess I'll never catch up to their beautiful skin tone!

Baby Israel had more fun playing with the sand than he did with the water. We had to sit with him and hug him tightly for him to relax and not be afraid of the water. The only water he feels comfortable with at this time is the water from the bath tub! In fact he loves it soo much I just experienced his first tantrum for taking him out of the tub!! Here are a few pics from the beach.

The following picture is my favorite of Baby Israel. This boy definitely has a personality. He loves to make silly faces. Lately he's been doing the cutest face by squeezing his hands and his eyes. I finally captured his silly face. We call this expression "ojitos". Enjoy!

First Pool Pics

We finally went to the pool last week. I was surprised how scared Baby Israel was. Although I couldn't get a smile out of him I thought I'd share pics anyways. Poor little guy he was holding on to dear life to that floating crocodile. And even though it was at least 100 degrees over here he was still shivering cold. But I guess since this was his first experience I should have expected this reaction. Hopefully he'll get used to it soon since I plan on being in the pool all summer long!
