Cloth Diapers!

In an effort to reduce costs during our hardship in this economy I decided to do some research on cloth diapers. To be honest at first I was really hesitant on cloth diapering because I thought it was going to be too much work and just too gross. But I couldn't bear the thought of spending $80+ a month on diapers that could only be worn once and then thrown away. So I found some really cute pocket cloth diapers and started my stash. I couldn't believe how easy it was to use these, just like regular disposable diapers but sooo much cuter. As I researched these diapers more and more I realized I could make my own. So I came up w/my own pattern and have started making my very own diapers. They are super cute and I can't wait to make more!! So now not only am I saving hundreds of dollars but my kids get to wear really cute diapers!! I'm still working on creating my own patterns in every size but soon I plan to open my own business on etsy.com

So here is a sneak peek at my first diapers!
Here is Benji sporting my 1st diaper!

Our 1st Snow!

I have always wanted to see it snow and finally I got the chance to see it twice!! It snowed some on Monday the 15th and then again on Wed the 17th. On Monday I barely got to see it snow a little because it was mostly snowing by my house and I was at work all day but when I got home I got to see the white roof tops and the car slightly covered. On Wednesday however it snowed a lot even at work and everything was completely covered a few inches. It was sooo exciting to see the snow falling. It was soo beautiful!! I wish it would have happened over the weekend though so I could play w/it and take more pics. But I did get a few pics and here they are:

Happy Thanksgiving!

I'm a little late in posting up pictures from Thanksgiving but here they are. It was soo much fun, this year we went to my SIL's (Becky) house in San Bernardino for the week. This was Benji's 1st Thanksgiving and I had 2 outfits for him which I couldn't decide which he should wear. I ended up using both since he had a blow-out in the first one. He looked super cute in both of them!

I love this picture of him yawning!
This was the best picture I was able to take of the both of them together.
Uncle Mark gave Israel this toy car and he LOVED driving it around the backyard. He rode it every chance he got!!

Gall Bladder Finally Out!

I had my surgery yesterday Friday Oct. 31! I'm soo happy to finally have my gall bladder taken out. This means I can now go back to eating everything!! I have missed eating soo many great foods that had cheese, eggs, butter, good ol' fat! I have liked that this strict diet helped me to lose weight but I'm ready to go back to normal. I'm still a little sore but hopefully soon the pain will be all gone and I'll be better than ever!

Here are a couple pics of Israel & Benji in matching outfits!! Benji is already 2 weeks old and Israel is 19 months!

Meet Baby Benjamin!

Benjamin Nathan was born on Friday Oct 17, 2008 at 9:15 am. He was 7 lbs. 5 oz. and measured 18 in. It was a pretty quick delivery. I was scheduled for an induction on thursday morning at 11am but it was delayed till 10:30 pm because they ran out of beds. I slowly dialated from a 1 to a 4 overnight and once they broke my water in the morning I went from a 4 to a 10 in like half an hour. It was so fast that I didn't get the chance to have an epidural and it also didn't give the Dr. time to make it for the delivery. It was painful but quick! I had an easy recovery too!
Here is my little bundle of joy!
